Tailfin’s “Overnighters” is a fresh video series in which host Boru McCullagh meets up with interesting folks and gets them out for a sub-24-hour overnight bikepacking trip on local trails. In the debut episode, Boru is joined by WorldTour pro Alison Jackson in Girona, Spain. Watch it here…
Overnighters is what Tailfin calls “a 24-hour excuse for a good conversation.” In the new series, host Boru McCullagh—back from an inspiring multi-year ride around the world—meets up with and gets to know a rotating cast of characters on quick bikepacking getaways. For some guests, it’s a first foray into bikepacking. Others are in their element riding and camping under the stars. For all, it’s less about the miles and more about the connection, letting the exchange unfold with good food, better views, and the kind of unguarded chats that tend to come up amid long days on the bike.
In the first episode above, Boru is joined by Canadian professional road cyclist and former Paris-Roubaix winner Alison Jackson, and the two take to the trails near her home in beautiful Girona, Spain. Dreamy gravel, delicious pizza, and spontaneous dancing ensue. Watch it above, and stay tuned for several more episodes over the next couple of months, with guests that include pro mountain biker Josh Bryceland, adventure motorcyclist and filmmaker Charley Boorman, and others.
