PNW Components just released an updated version of their popular Rainier Dropper Post, adding more options and a nifty Tool-Less Travel Adjust System to dial in the fit. Watch the official launch video and find more details here…

The PNW Rainier Dropper Post, now in its third iteration, has seen some considerable updates for 2020. PNW’s Tool-Less Travel Adjust System offers up to 30mm of travel reduction in 5mm increments, which will help dial in the fit while making the most of the travel available. This allows someone right in between a 175mm and 200mm dropper post to dial back the 200mm length to work with their frame and saddle height. From what we can tell, it’s a cleverly executed feature, easily accessed by simply unthreading the post’s midcap to reveal the BU-bushing and turning it into one of six travel reduction notches. Check out the launch video below.

The Rainier is also substantially shorter than PNW’s other posts, making it a great option for shorter riders looking to get the most out of their dropper post. The Rainier is available in 125, 150, 170, or 200mm travel, and 30.9 or 31.6mm diameters (with 34.9 coming soon). It’s only compatible with internal routing, and weighs between 545g (125mm) and 640g (200mm). The post is made from 7075 alloy, comes with a three-year warranty, and costs $179 USD.
