Tumbleweed’s new Big Dipper drop bar and their mountain bike touring flat bar, the Persuader, are now available with an eye-catching polished finish. Check them both out here…
Tumbleweed Cycles, maker of the Prospector, Stargazer, and the new Sunliner flat-bar ATB, has never offered polisher silver versions of their handlebars, but that all changes today. Tumbleweed now offers their Big Dipper drop bar and Persuader flat bar in black or polisher silver finishes.
The Big Dipper is Tumbleweed’s newest handlebar and their first one with drops. It comes in three widths ranging from 510mm to a whopping 570mm, has a 20° flare, 109mm drop, and 50mm reach, uses a standard 31.8mm stem clamp, and weighs around 380 grams. Check out Logan’s review here for all the details.
The Persuader Bar has been in the Tumbleweed lineup for over five years and has become a popular option for bikepacking and general ATB-style cycling alike. Like the Big Dipper, it’s made from 7000 series heat-treated aluminum. It is offered in two width options (800 and 840mm) with either a 30° or a new 20° sweep option, has a 50mm rise, features a 31.8mm clamp, and boasts a generous 200mm clamp area across the center of the bar. Make sure to read Logan’s review of the new 20° sweep option, which he found better suited for folks coming from a mountain bike background and those who prefer slightly less sweep than the original.
Both bars cost $115 in black or $125 for the polisher silver version and are available now from Tumbleweed.cc.
