Surly has a knack for making folks want a new frame. Is it the catchy new colors, or the Surly thinktank’s proficiency at creating good color names? Either way, the 2019 Bruised Ego Purple Krampus is looking quite nice. Pick up a complete for $1500 or a frameset for $675. Both are available now from your local QBP dealer. I’ll say it again, it’s hard to beat the Krampus if you’re in the market for a do-it-all, no-nonsense bikepacking trail rig.
