Special Edition Women’s Rapha Nomad Collection

Rapha’s latest line, the Nomad Collection, is a special edition women’s collection framed around the celebration of adventure on two wheels and the golden era of cycling through the lens of female adventure. The collection consists of a wind jacket, cargo bib shorts, technical shirts, a bar bag, a cap, and socks. Each item in the collection features a hidden story label with a passage that connects the product and its owner to its original inspiration.

Rapha: The spirit of adventure runs deep in cycling. It also goes way back. In 1976, American cyclists from across the continent decided to honour their nation’s 200-year anniversary with a 4,250-mile bike ride from Astoria, Oregon, to Yorktown, Virginia. Named Bikecentennial, the event brought like-minded adventurers from all walks of life together for the journey of a lifetime.

Today, that same spirit runs right across the globe, with more people taking to cycling than ever before. Following on from last year’s Rapha + Outdoor Voices collaboration, comes Nomad. A new special edition women’s collection that speaks to the freedom of adventure on two wheels. Taking inspiration from the 1976 Bicentennial, it celebrates this golden era of cycling through the lens of female adventure.

Rapha Women’s Nomad Wind Jacket

The Nomad Wind Jacket is a lightweight 1/4 zip wind layer with a relaxed fit and soft next-to-skin feel. It features an elasticized storm hood, a large chest pocket, reflective details, and an integrated stuff sack that can double as a small pillow when packed down.

Rapha Women’s Nomad Cargo Bib Shorts

The Nomad Cargo Bib Shorts provide extra capacity with two mesh pockets on the legs and two more on the back. The design eliminates the need for a traditional cycling jersey and the lightweight construction is designed to be comfortable in temperatures up to 30°C. The chamois is lightweight and perforated to dry quickly, as is the short fabric, which can be washed in the evening and ready for the next day.

Rapha Women’s Nomad Technical T-Shirt and Longsleeve

The Nomad Technical T-Shirt and Longsleeeve are both constructed from a lightweight micro-mesh fabric that wicks sweat, dries quick, and has a loose-fitting design that’s comfortable on the hottest of days.

Rapha Nomad Bar Bag

The Nomad Bar Bag is a simple handlebar-mounted bag with reflective webbing details, a quick-access front pocket, and a main compartment with two internal mesh pockets. There is a hidden shoulder strap for quick runs into stores for snacks or for everyday use, an additional side buckle that can be used to mount it as a small frame bag, and quick-release buckles.

Rapha Women’s Nomad Cap and Socks

Rounding out the Nomad Collection are the cap and socks. The cap is lined with moisture-wicking, anti-bacterial tape, and has a neatly gathered elastic fastener to hold it comfortably in place. Designed to fit neatly under your helmet, this cap also folds into a pocket for a flourish at the cafe stop. The socks are lightweight, breathable, and feature a reinforced heel cup and toe box for durability.
