Rapha just launched a women’s version of their lightweight, packable Explore Down Jacket, which is available in two new colors and six sizes with a women’s specific cut. Find additional details and photos here…

Yesterday, Rapha announced the latest addition to their adventure-focused Explore collection: a women’s version of the Explore Down Jacket we reviewed back in February of last year (check that out here). Designed to provide warmth without weight and work equally well on and off the bike, the new Rapha Women’s Explore Down Jacket is filled with the same high-loft 850-fill 90/10 down as the men’s version. Rapha once again worked with Allied Feather + Down to use responsibly sourced and fully traceable down, and each jacket comes with a lot number that allows wearers to track the precise origin of the fill.

Rapha Explore Women's Down Jacket

The Women’s Explore Down jacket features a removable hood, full-length two-way zippers, hand warmer pockets, elasticated openings at the cuffs and hood to help keep heat inside, a hidden adjustable waistband, and front and rear reflective details. Its down is coated with a 100% fluorocarbon-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish to help it retain some additional warmth when wet, and the main body and lining are constructed from 100% polyester. At the time of publishing, weights aren’t available online (the version we tested was 244 grams for a men’s large).

The New Explore Down Jacket is priced at a hefty $295 and is available in two colors (Navy and Purple) and six sizes (XXS to XL). Rapha’s stock doesn’t seem to have hit the US site yet, but depending on your location, it should be available soon at Rapha.cc.
