As self-supported, multi-day, ultra-endurance bike racing continues to grow across Europe and the UK, Leeds-based Restrap just added a full range of bags specifically designed for such rides. According to Restrap, the range had over 18 months of in-house development and testing prior to its release. The Adventure Race Range is the company’s lightest complete kit yet, weighing less than 1kg in total. Here are the details on each bag…
Restrap Race Saddle Bag
Eerily similar to Wayward Rider’s Loiuse dropper pack, Restrap’s Adventure Race Saddle Bag uses a hardshell, laser-cut, X21 holster to hold a waterproof 7.0L drybag made of 6oz waterproof coated nylon (included). The load is secured with a Fidlock™ magnetic buckle for easy adjustment, and nylon webbing, Hypalon straps, and foam blocks secure the holster around the seat post.
The holster also includes Hypalon loops to attach a rear light as well as other Hypalon detailing for durability. Reflective accents on the dry bag add visibility for night riding.

Restrap Race Top Tube
The Adventure Race Top Tube Bag was designed using X21, 6oz nylon lining, YKK zips, and Restrap’s Hypalon zip cover. The bag is secured with a three-point Hypalon fitting, a new universal headset fitting, and an internal plastic structure to keeps the bag upright. The bag also features reflective detailing for night riding and an adjustable frame strap to work with most frame bags and all Restrap Frame Bags.

Restrap Race Frame Bag
The Adventure Race Frame Bag is constructed from X21, a 6oz nylon lining, and a YKK zipper. The bag is designed to provide quick access to gear while on the move, and still remain lightweight and minimal. The frame bag features a Hypalon pocket cover and pockets on each side for organizing gear, reflective detailing for night riding, and an extra cable slot at the front of the bag for dyno cabling and charging.

Restrap Race Aero Bar Bag
The Adventure Race Aero Bar bag is similarly designed to the Race Seat Bag and features a laser-cut holster with a dedicated 7.0L drybag. The bag straps to aero bars and is front-loaded and fully adjustable for different aero bars. It also features an elastic cord to allow storage between the bars for smaller items.

Restrap Race Musette
The Adventure Race Musette Bag is designed to be a small, packable, off-the-bike accessory. It’s made from 6oz waterproof coated nylon and features a popper fastener for keeping stuff secure. An adjustable Hypalon shoulder strap is included, as well as an elastic loop, allowing the bag to be packed down and folded to fit into a jersey pocket or any other luggage.
