Check Out the Restrap Bar Pack (Now in Olive)

Launched in March 2020, the Restrap Bar Pack has gone on to become one of the UK-based company’s best-selling products. We somehow missed the press release for this one, so here it is, right in time for Restrap to announce this sharp new Olive color option. The Bar Pack is designed as a drop-bar-friendly handlebar bag option for long day rides and multi-day trips. Find specs and pics below.

The Restrap Bar Pack is a double roll-top handlebar bag that’s handmade in the company’s Yorkshire workshop. The bag’s exterior is made from a specially developed textured nylon that they claim is 100% waterproof when paired with a coated nylon internal layer. Sandwiched between these two layers is an internal stiffener that helps it keeps its shape.

The Bar Pack features two roll-top compartments, offering a generous 10 liters of storage capacity. It has a Hypalon closure that secures the front compartment, which doubles as a mounting slot for a clip-on front light. For commuters or city dwellers, it also has a mini D-lock holster that sits in between the two compartments. The front compartment closure acts as a strap for holding the lock in place.

The Bar Pack is secured to the bike using two spring-loaded cam locks with foam spacers to provide a little wiggle room. It has a side-release tension and buckle system to keep things secure and a hardshell back to provide additional structure and rigidity. There is also a multi-position MOLLE headtube strap system and an elastic drawcord for lashing on a layer or other on-the-go items.
