We recently spotted a distinctive rear rack that can accommodate different cargo on one of Rhubarb Bikes’ latest custom builds. Take a quick look at the Prague, Czech Republic-based builder’s one-of-a-kind hauling platform here…
There’s no end to the creative one-off products that come from the custom frame building world, and we always love seeing them. The latest problem-solving concept to stop us in our tracks is a modular rear rack on one of Rhubarb Bikes’ new builds. The frame itself is something between an all-roader and a mountain bike, and it’s built to run a 100mm suspension fork and 700 x 52mm tires.
With loaded travel in mind, the crew at Rhubarb Bikes dreamed up and built a unique dual-telescoping rear rack that can take the shape of a minimal rear support for a dry bag or a larger rear rack capable of hauling a pair of panniers over the sides. Its angle and length are both adjustable to suit a wide variety of cargo. We’ve never seen anything quite like it. That’s all we know for now, but you can head over to Instagram to follow Rhubarb Bikes’ many racks, frames, and more.
