In the sixth episode of the Ride Buddies series from Ride with GPS, ultra-endurance athletes Lael Wilcox and Kait Boyle sit down for a conversation about trading records, gnarly water, climate change, and much more. Listen to it here…

It’s hard to find two other athletes as accomplished or inspiring as Kait Boyle and Lael Wilcox. Kait is a world champion and record-holding ultra-endurance mountain biker. One of her more recent feats includes setting a new women’s fastest known time on the Kokopelli Trail, which also happened to be her first ultra since a devastating car accident that had her questioning her ability to ride or walk again. And Lael is no stranger to the ultra-endurance world, either. She has set a record at the Tour Divide, become the first woman ever to win the Trans Am Bike Race, and co-designed the Baja Divide route—just to name a few.
