Our friends at Landyachtz Bikes in Vancouver, Canada, are pleased to announce their second annual Ride for the Forest event, a self-supported scavenger hunt in support of old-growth forest protection. The rules are simple: get out during the month of August and ride for the forest! Collect photos along the way and post them on the weekend of August 28th and 29th to your social media to support a great cause.

The ride is open to anyone and any form of cycling, whether it’s road, gravel, MTB, BMX, or whatever you choose to ride. All you need to do is take a few photos along your ride and you’ll have the chance to win some sweet prizes. Everyone who registers will be entered into a drawing to win a soon-to-be-released 2022 Landyachtz Play Bike frame set, and there are prizes for the best photo submissions as well.

This year’s categories are “epic view from your ride,” “favorite section of your ride,” “biggest tree on your ride,” and “wacky wildlife.” Entry is $30 for the event and gets you one entry into a raffle to win a Play Bike 2 frame set (pictured below). And $50 gets you entry to the event, a raffle entry, and a Ride For The Forest T-shirt.
