Ritchey just introduced its first flat pedal to date, the all-new Bigfoot. Constructed from reinforced nylon with a sizable platform and nine grippy pins per side, they’re designed to strike the ideal balance of affordability and performance. Find a quick look at the Ritchey Bigfoot pedals here…

The new Ritchey Bigfoot is the storied California brand’s first flat pedal, designed to provide control, confidence, and efficiency with a lightweight design. Built from reinforced nylon, the $48.95 Ritchey Bigfoot pedals were conceived to be equal parts durable and affordable. They sport chromoly steel axles, a generous 105 x 108.5mm concave platform, and nine replaceable/adjustable anti-slip pins on each pedal face. A bushing inner bearing and a sealed cartridge outer bearing work to prevent ingress of contaminants.

Weighing 360 grams per pair, Ritchey says their budget-friendly platform pedals can hold their own against their heavier anodized aluminum cousins. For now, the Bigfoots are only available in Black, but the Mojave Sand version pictured above is expected to land around the second half of this year.
