Over the past several months, Rockgeist has helped us out by making beautiful, custom, bolt-on frame bags for several bikes we reviewed. To help them recoup the cost, here are five up for sale at a steep discount…

If case you’re unfamiliar, Rockgeist is a small bikepacking bag maker based in Asheville, North Carolina. In addition to their Gondola dropper-post seat pack and the innovative Spacelink, among many other products, Rockgeist also makes beautiful custom frame bags from a variety of materials.

Greg Hardy and team have been kind enough to make several custom bags for bikes we’ve tested over the years, which have since been returned. And since we no longer have use for them, Rockgeist is putting them up for sale at a special price. Here are the details on each. Payment goes to Rockgeist who will ship them directly. If you’re interested in one of these bags, message Rockgeist on Instagram. They are first come, first served and will ship in the US for free or worldwide for $25.

We just finished a big scouting trip in Montana for a route we’re super excited to publish later this summer. Salsa loaned us three size large Journeyman for the project and Rockgeist provided these wedge bags that fit them perfectly. Each one bolts on to the downtube and is made to work with a Widefoot LitreCage (or CargoMount) and a Klean Kanteen Classic 40oz bottle at the seat tube. They also feature two large, burly zippers, an optional divider, and a mesh rear pocket that fits a small pump. They worked beautifully and only have about 380 miles on them. Although they’re rather dusty in these photos, they cleaned up well after and are pretty much as good as new.

Next up, one really nice Fiberflight Cuben Fiber Hybrid full-frame bag for the Santa Cruz Carbon Chameleon. This bag is super lightweight and features two zippers, a map pocket, an optional horizontal divider, and two bolt holes that match up perfectly to the Chameleon’s water bottle bosses. Like all the other bags listed here, it also has a hydration port. Although I put a couple thousand miles on the Chameleon while testing it, much of it was trail riding with not a lot in the bag and it’s still in excellent condition.

Lastly, this FiberFlight X-Pac LiteSkin full-frame bag was made for a size 57.5cm Salsa Warbird. This capacious bag features a single burly sparse-zipper, an internal map sleeve, and a lace-up top tube design with a bolt-on system that attaches to the bottle bosses at the seat tube and down tube. As such, it only only requires a single strap at the top of the seat tube. Note that it has a couple tiny pinhole-sized punctures on one side from where I dropped it on a gnarly stump at camp one night. Otherwise, it’s in perfect shape and Rockgeist reinforced that area with mylar tape, so it’s as strong as it was new. This is a steal of a deal.
