Officially announced moments ago, the Rangefinder is the newest addition to Salsa’s mountain bike lineup. The company describes it as their, “confidence-building trail hardtail, designed to deliver thrills on local singletrack or venture into unknown territory without hesitation.” The budget-friendly Salsa Rangefinder is built around a lightweight aluminum frame with a suspension fork and can run 29″ or 27.5+ wheels and tires. 2020 Salsa Rangefinder Overview

Geometry

The Salsa Rangefinder features stable trail geometry for tackling technical terrain with ease, with a short stem and long top tube, a 68° headtube angle, and 439mm chainstays.

Frame Highlights

The frame is constructed from a lightweight 6061-TG aluminum, has Boost 141 QR rear spacing, main triangle internal cable routing for shifter, brake, and dropper post, clearance for up to 29 x 2.6″ or 27.5 x 3.0″ tires, and comes in five sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL) to fit a range of riders.
