Take Action Before the Senate Votes on Public Land Sell-Offs

Here in the United States, our public lands are places where Americans climb, ski, hike, camp, bike, paddle, surf, and connect with nature. Republic lawmakers want to sell those lands off to offset tax cuts and government spending, and the Senate will be voting on a spending bill that includes a proposal to do so. Democratic senators Martin Heinrich of New Mexico and John Hickenlooper of Colorado have introduced an amendment that would prohibit the sale of public lands to pay for federal spending, but they need backup from other senators.

Our friends at Outdoor Alliance have made it easy to write to your senators and tell them to stand up for our public lands and remind their colleagues that they aren’t for sale. They’re asking everyone who cares about protecting natural places to take two minutes to fill out this short form, and we hope you’ll help protect the places we ride by taking a moment to do so.
