The new Tracker 85 Bar is Stooge’s take on the ultimate dirt touring handlebar. According to Stooge, it’s based on their Junker 85 but with the crossbar removed and the sweep increased to 23 degrees, offering a slightly more relaxed angle for your wrists. The end result is a neutral riding position that looks ideal for long rides, day after day.
The Stooge Tracker 85 Bar is made from 4130 Chromoly steel and ED-coated for all-season durability. It has a 22.2mm clamp size but is supplied with shims for 31.8mm stems. As far as the numbers go, the bars have an 85mm rise, 820mm width, and 23-degree backsweep. They look shreddy enough to still tackle singletrack but cruisey enough to be comfortable and upright for bikepacking. Stooge says the Junker Bar is stronger and perhaps better suited for those riding jumps and drops, but the Tracker 85 bar is still “tough as nails.”
