During the fist stage of the ~3,300km Transiberica event in Spain, Ana Orenz collided with a wild boar on a descent, leaving her unconscious on the road for over two hours. Thankfully she’s now safe in the hospital, but is grappling with serious injuries to her neck and the rest of her body. According the first-responders, she’s incredibly lucky to be alive. A Go Fund Me campaign was set up to help offset the costs of her physical therapy, as her friends and family are all committed to helping her get back on the bike. Ana is no stranger to these types of events, recently winning the 24-Hour Championship of Spain and setting the Triple Everest female record last year.

The rules are simple. Make a donation to the Go Fund Me campaign, send an email confirmation and screenshot to DITW, and in two weeks they will randomly pick a winner.

Find the GoFundMe here, and then head over to Dyed in the Wool’s Instagram to learn more about their giveaway. Heal up Ana!
