The new Topeak FastFuel DryBag top tube bag promises waterproof storage with a hard-shell design to keep its shape. What do you think?
More news from Eurobike 2017. Topeak’s sleek “FastFuel Tri” has evolved into the FastFuel DryBag, a 0.8 liter (50 cubic inches) waterproof top tube bag featuring a sonically welded DryBag design and waterproof zipper to keep contents protected from the elements. Constructed with a hard shell, Topeak claims the FastFuel DryBag keeps its shape “to prevent any leg contact”. It’s definitely a different and interesting prospect for weather sensitive electronics and such. For comparison, it weighs about the same as Revelate’s 65 cubic inch MagTank.
It’s also worth noting that the top-tube strap can be moved along several rubber reinforced daisy chains on the bottom of the bag (see below). There are a few additional photos on this Instagram story as well.
- Capacity 0.8 liters (50 cubic inches)
- Size 22.8 x 8.9 x 5.9 cm (9 x 3.5 x 2.3”)
- Weight 134 g (4.73 oz)
- MSRP $54.95
- Expected Availability January 2018
