Tunk Bicycles out of Finland is making an impressive debut with the Hike-Use, a comfortable, lightweight touring and randonneuring frameset designed to carry riders on getaways along all manner of roads and conditions. It features classic touring geometry that has been thoughtfully scaled across a wide range of seven sizes with varying wheel circumferences.
Tunk designed the Hike-Use with compatibility for proven, reliable parts in mind, including 1″ or 1 1/8″ threadless headsets (depending on size), standard 100mm front and 130mm rear QR axles, brake posts for cantilever/V-brakes, internal dynamo routing through the frame and fork, a 27.2mm seatpost, a 28.6mm front derailleur clamp size, a 68mm BSA threaded bottom bracket, and downtube shifter bosses.
