Twin Six just announced a limited edition version of their flagship Standard Rando 2.0 in a brilliant “Amber Flame” colorway, which is available with a color-matched steel or carbon fork. Find details and more images here…
Minneapolis-based Twin Six (@twinsix) recently shared news of a small batch of Standard Rando 2.0 frames in a lovely Amber Flame color, which joins the Steel Blue and Extra Black versions of their flagship drop-bar bike. At the time of publishing, Amber Flame Standard Rando 2.0s are available in the full size run from 47 up to 59cm. They’re sold as framesets starting at $850 with a unicrown steel fork (or $1,100 with a color-matched carbon fork), and complete builds start from $2,100.
Although we haven’t covered the Standard Rando much in the more than six years it’s been around, it’s actually quite feature-rich from a light-duty bikepacking perspective, packing in three sets of bottle mounts, triple-pack mounts on the fork, rack and fender mounts, fully external cable routing, front and rear thru-axles, a replaceable derailleur hanger, and more.
