Announced late last week, Velo Orange just added yet another alternative option to their growing collection of handlebars, and the latest is one of their most interesting offerings to date. The new Granola-Moose Bar is a one-piece bar and stem combo that’s based on the brand’s Granola Bar and features an integrated 1 1/8″ threadless clamp. They say it “makes for a truly buttoned-up and streamlined appearance on your city, touring, or mountain bike.”

It’s hard to be sure how comfortable the secondary hand positions would be without trying one in person, but the semi-flattened 22.2mm front cross bar is certainly a welcome addition for mounting lights, computers, and the like. The MTB-rated Velo Orange Granola-Moose Bar is 660mm wide with a 60° sweep, the grip area is 170mm long with a 22.2mm diameter, the stem length is equivalent to 100mm, and it weighs in at 926 grams. It used a two-bolt clamp design and is intended for 1 1/8″ threadless steerers and can be used with Velo Orange’s adapter for 1″ steerers.
