Archers Track, Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand

Shrouded by dense native bushland, the Archers Track sits nestled in New Zealand’s majestic Marlborough Sounds. Bright green ferns and nikau palms line its narrow the singletrack. As we rode it, small creeks full of fresh mountain water gently trickled to the right of us and through momentary breaks in the forest canopy, the pristine waters of distant bays revealed themselves to us. This shot was taken on a recent overnight adventure with Tom (@tom_powell_photo) and Bec (@becbycycle).

What an epic ride to close this busy yet lovely week. Such a pleasure to have a bike camp trip with Tangselvania and the Gravel Hura – Hura (@gravel.hurahura) crew. We had a big climb and super laughs, stories, meals, and coffee. Can’t wait for another one!

Brown County, Indiana, USA

My pal Will (pictured here) and I rode a quick overnight loop he designed from Bloomington, Indiana, out to Brown County State Park. We met up with a third friend at the park and had a rainy but not-too-cold winter night camping out. Though a bit wet, we happily sampled some of the best gravel and doubletrack that southern Indiana has to offer! Editor’s note: We’re currently working with Will on a new route from this area, the Brown County Delight, which we’ll be sharing in the near future. Stay tuned!
