Riding in Baja California with our friend Marco was something we will not forget, and neither will our tires! Riding and sleeping between giant cactus has a cost. Every night, we had to repair those punctures, but it was so worth it.
Finland

I’m a preschool teacher, and with the schools closed for a week during the autumn holidays, also known as “Syysloma” in Finnish, I decided to take two days off. I figured it was a great opportunity for a cycling trip from my home in Helsinki to Nuuksio and Liesjärvi National Parks, with my final destination being Hyvinkää, where I caught a train back. The 200-kilometre route was filled with gravel paths and tranquil country roads adorned with yellow and orange leaves falling from the trees. The weather was pretty chilly, with temperatures around and below freezing, making it a bit of a challenge to spend three days outdoors. But, on the bright side, it was mostly sunny and dry.

We were treated to a perfect sunset on our favourite descent in the Marin Headlands. My partner is riding her new 1992 Bridgestone BB-1 build, and I climbed up Marincello Trail for the first time.
