Widefoot’s flagship product, the LiterCage, was just updated with a stainless steel tubing construction and more mounting options, and it’s still perfect for hauling Nalgene bottles and more. Find more details on the popular US-made cage here…

It’s hard to believe that Widefoot’s flagship product, the LiterCage, was released eight years ago as the only made-in-USA oversized cage for 1,000-milliliter bottles. While there have been a few new color options over the years, the LiterCage hasn’t changed since 2014, until now. Originally made from solid stainless steel, the updated LiterCage is now manufactured from stainless steel tubing, making it 18% lighter without compromising strength or durability. The base of the cage has been updated from having five small slotted mounting points to a more adjustable base with two long slotted mounting points and five smaller ones, allowing for multiple positions on frames and forks with two- or three-bolt mounting systems.

As part of Widefoot’s relocation to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2021, they’ve moved production in-house to coincide with the new design. This has allowed them to overcome certain production bottlenecks, and each LiterCage is now hand-bent and robotically TIG welded in-house. The LiterCage is currently offered in polished silver or anodized black.
