British Columbia-based Wildwood Cycles just released some ultra-low-profile mounts for securing cages onto your suspension fork. Check them out here…

The Lower Mounts from Wildwood Cycles in Victoria, British Columbia, are the latest way to add bottle and cargo cages to the lowers on your suspension fork. These types of auxiliary mounts are a great solution for carrying extra gear or water on long trips or as a workaround for those riding smaller frames with limited packing space. The Wildwood Lower Mounts are some of the lowest-profile mounts we’ve seen. They attach to your fork using a zip-tie, include M5 stainless hardware, are made from 3D-printed nylon, so they should be strong yet lightweight. And in true Wildwood fashion, they are made in Canada!

You can use two or three at a time for standard or triple pack cargo cages, with a weight cap of 5 pounds per pair and 7.5 pounds for a 3x. “I’m aware there are a few similar products out there that serve the same purpose but I’m confident my design is the lowest-tech and most cost-effective solution,” says Jesse at Wildwood, “At least until suspension manufacturers start integrating mounts into their lowers.”
