WTF Bikexplorers Announce “Within & Without” Podcast

Launching in early 2020, Within & Without will be a podcast series that features interviews, stories, and event highlights produced by and for the WTF Bikexplorers—a community of riders who identify as women, transgender, femme, and/or non-binary, and use their bicycles to explore.

Beyond just the audio content, each episode of Within & Without will include links to the resources and rides referenced in the interviews, letting listeners dive deeper to learn more about the content and context of each story. According to the WTF Bikexplorers, the podcast is “designed to lift up voices from riders in our community, the themes and ideas explored in these stories provide insight and inspiration for anyone who uses bike travel as a way to connect with the world around them.”

We’re admirers of all the great programs and resources the WTF Bikexplorers have put together to date, including the annual WTF Bikexplorers Summit, the SJ Brooks Scholarship Program, and their Grassroots Ride Series. In fact, we even named them “Bikepacker of the Year” in our 2018 Bikepacking Awards. We look forward to listening to the first episode of the new podcast next year, and will be sure to share it here on the site when it goes live. Other new initiatives for 2020 include a printed publication and a gravel race team/club. Stay tuned for updates on both of those, too.
