Wizard Works co-founder Veronica’s hometown in New Zealand was devastated by Cyclone Gabrielle last month, and the London-based brand just announced the AllBlack Collection to help raise relief funds. They’ll be donating 50% of the sale price to the Hawkes Bay Foundation’s Cyclone Gabrielle Fund. You can purchase a bag or make a donation here…

Announced yesterday and available throughout this month, the new Wizard Works AllBlack Collection is made up of several of the London brand’s most popular styles in a mix of black US-made VX-21 X-Pac and German-made Cordura. New Zealand is in need of support following Cyclone Gabrielle last month, the deadliest cyclone to hit the country in nearly half a century, and Wizard Works is donating 50% of AllBlack sales to the Hawkes Bay Foundation’s Cyclone Gabrielle Fund.

Wizard Works co-founder Veronica is from Hawkes Bay and was back home visiting New Zealand for the first time in several years when the cyclone hit. She spent a terrifying night watching the water rise inside her home and was rescued from the second story of the house and taken to safety in a boat the following morning. From Wizard Works: “Others weren’t so lucky, most houses in the Esk Valley don’t have a second story to seek refuge in, and there are harrowing stories of people desperately clinging to trees or trapped in cars for hours and hours, waiting to be rescued. Sadly, too many didn’t make it, swept away by the raging torrent. The flood waters have gone, but the damage has been laid bare. Silt, over a meter in height, covers nearly everything.”
