Wolf Tooth Lithic Carbon Mountain Fork Has Swappable Dropouts

Lithic forks have been around and available as stock options on Otso bikes for a few years, specially the Fat and Gravel versions. Those two forks just got revamped with new paint and decals. More interesting, they also released an all-new mountain bike fork with some pretty neat features. Take a peek at everything below.

Lithic Carbon Mountain Fork

At first glance, the new Lithic Mountain Fork looks like a dozen other aftermarket carbon mountain bike forks that are available. It’s a full-carbon design that’s suspension-corrected for a 120mm fork, and it has three-pack mounts on either side with clearance for 29” x 3.0” tires. And like several other options we’ve seen, it has an adjustable flip chip, allowing riders to tweak the offset by 7.5mm to either 44 or 51.5mm.

However, it also has a few unique features designed by the clever engineers at Wolf Tooth Components. Most notably, the Carbon Mountain Fork has machined aluminum dropouts that can be interchanged to allow it to work with either a 100 or 110mm hub and with post or flat mount brakes. Four different dropouts are available based on brake mount type and hub width. And because they’re mounted on the same piece of machined aluminum that positions the axle, disc brakes don’t need to be adjusted when the flip chip is used to change the offset. The Lithic Carbon Mountain Fork also has external brake routing to make it easy to swap with a suspension fork.

The Lithic Carbon Gravel Fork was designed for use with suspension-corrected frames with 420mm axle-to-crown height. It was initially used as the stock fork on the Otso Waheela C and Warakin but is now available to purchase on its own. The Gravel fork has clearance for 29” x 2.1” tires, three-pack mounts on either leg, and is available in matte black paint or gloss black with gloss white decals.

The Lithic Carbon Fat Fork was initially designed as the stock fork on the Otso Voytek and Arctodus fat bikes and has a 485mm axle-to-crown that’s suspension-corrected for a 100-120mm fork. It has clearance for 26” x 5.4” tires and three-pack mounts for loading it up with gear.
