As far as funky adventure handlebars go, the Wren Perseverance Bar tops the charts. It has a massive aero loop out front, offering more room for your hands and gear and also providing better control while in a tucked, aero position. We took a closer look at the flat-bar version (review linked below) last year and felt it paired well with modern mountain bikes as the loop was handy for attaching lights and GPS devices above any type of handlebar bag.

Lovers of drop bars will be happy to know that preorders just opened up for the Wren Perseverance Adventure Dropbar, a curvy take on the standard flat bar model. It’s made from 6061 Aluminum, is 530mm wide at the hoods, and has a 29°flare. Just like the original, it’s finished in an Anodized Gold/Bronze with Black Decals. You can preorder the bar alone for $180 or as a kit with armrests and extra-long bar tape for $300 ($80 in savings).
