Earlier this month, Jeanne Lepoix and Xavier Tipa cycled the Ardennes Arbalète bikepacking route in Belgium. They completed the 365-kilometer loop in four days and Jeanne made this film along the way using a Sony Alpha 7III and a GoPro 7. Watch it below, then scroll down to find a few photos and learn more about the route.
The Ardennes Arbalète is a long-weekend bikepacking loop that starts and ends in Liège, Belgium. The route offers a little something for everyone: fast forest gravel, beat up singletrack, cruisey bike paths through castle-dotted valleys, quaint encounters with cheery locals, humbling reminders of the area’s poignant history, and the promise of fantastic beer around nearly every corner. View the full route guide here.
Also, be sure to check out Jeanne’s film from the La Ruta Mala bikepacking route in Cuba, which received a “Staff Pick” award from Vimeo.
