Mick Turnbull and Danielle O’Hara hopped on a ferry in South Australia to explore Kangaroo Island by bicycle. Along the way, Mick captured some stunning wildlife footage, time lapse scenery, and visuals of the island’s amazing plant life. Watch it here.

Kangaroo Island is southwest of Adelaide off the mainland of South Australia. Over one third of the island is protected as a nature reserve, home to native wildlife such as sea lions, koalas, and an array of bird species. Mick Turnbull and Danielle O’Hara loaded their rigs onto the ferry and set out to explore the island by bike. Along the way, Mick captured footage for this video using a Panasonic GH5 with 10-25mm f/1.7 and 35-100mm f/2.8 lenses. Watch it below and be sure to check out Mick’s previous film “The Old Ghan” linked in the related content grid at the bottom of the post…

“If gravel roads, beautiful beaches, bird-watching, and seal-spotting are your thing, get the ferry, get on your bike, and get exploring.”
