Bikepacking the GTMC (video)

Thanks in advance for spreading the word!

Last April, Martin and César set out to bikepack the Grande Traversée du Massif Central (GTMC) in France. Along the way they made this video to capture the beauty of the route and the good times they shared…

The Grande Traversée du Massif Central (GTMC) mountain bike route starts in central France and follows 446 miles (718 km) of dirt roads, gravel, rock, sand, singletrack, and a little tarmac all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. The route crosses the French backcountry via the Massif Central, a largely remote region of mountain plateaus and forests, past farms, hamlets, villages, and ancient walled towns. Last April, César Bygodt (who you met in a recent Reader’s Rig) and his friend and filmmaker Martin tackled the route in 10 days. Martin made this video along the way. P.S. I can’t believe they didn’t break a spoke in the first scene; don’t try that at home.
