“Doing this alone, I felt like I was let in on the most incredible secret. The problem was, I could just never properly share it…”
Reflection (by Chris Wilson)
I went on my first real solo adventure in 2016, and the crown jewel was bikepacking the White Rim. I had an incredible time on the trip and it turned out to be a transformative one. I proved to myself I could go on adventures alone.
Since then, I have gone on a lot of incredible solo adventures. However, at times it feels like there is a piece missing because it isn’t a shared experience. You know that feeling you have when you experience something amazing, but you could never properly share it… people wouldn’t get it unless they experienced it too. So, on this road trip with my friend Rob, I was excited to share this unique and impossibly stunning landscape with him.
