The Mother of Bikepacking Kits (Giveaway)

We’re giving away the Mother of Bikepacking Kits! Enter now to win a handpicked gear list chock-full of brand new products from Big Agnes and Revelate Designs.

As temps warm up and folks start plotting upcoming adventures, we dreamt up an idea to help kickstart somebody’s spring. To do so we’ve partnered with The Mother of Comfort, Big Agnes, and Alaskan bikepacking bag crafters, Revelate Designs, to assemble some of our favorite gear in the The Mother of Bikepacking Kits. On May 5th, one fortunate individual will be randomly selected to receive this kit. And as long as this lucky sap has a bike and a few other essentials, he or she will be ready to roll out on a bikepacking adventure… with brand new equipment.

What’s in the kit?

The Mother of Bikepacking Kits we concocted features some of our favorite gear provided by two of our favorite companies. It includes everything in the photo below, purposefully picked to make up a well-rounded gear list. See the details below for the full inventory:

Sleeping Gear from Big Agnes

Big Agnes makes some of the best ultralight tents in the industry, particularly the Fly Creek Series. Collectively we’ve used the Fly Creek UL1, UL2, and UL3 and can vouch for the quality of this lineup. The Mother of All Bikepacking Kits includes the Fly Creek UL2 mtnGLO, a great in-between tent that works well for a couple or lone-wolf alike. In addition, the Big Agnes Pitchpine UL 45 sleeping bag makes a great cornerstone to a versatile kit. It’s a great summer bag, but with super cozy 850 fill power DownTek™ insulation it can also be a solid three-season option when used with additional layers or a bag liner. And, it’s hard to beat the plush comfort of the Q-Core line of sleeping pads. Here’s what’s included from The Mother of Comfort:

  • yancey-ridge-s24o-13
  • Big Agnes Q-core SL Sleeping Pad, Bikepacking
  • Big Agnes Slater UL 2+ Tent Review
  • 1 Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2 mtnGLO Tent
  • 1 Big Agnes Pitchpine UL 45 Sleeping Bag (Regular length)
  • 1 Big Agnes Q-Core SL Sleeping Pad (20×72”)
