Thanks in advance for spreading the word!

Rapha’s latest “Gone Racing” film follows professional cyclist turned bikepacker Lachlan Morton on his monumental 5,500-kilometer “Alt Tour” this summer, during which he rode the entire 2021 Tour de France route and all the transfers in between without support. Watch it here…

Back in June, professional cyclist Lachlan Morton (@lachlanmorton) set off to complete a unique version of the Tour de France—inspired by the inaugural 1903 edition—during which he rode all of the route’s 21 stages and transfers unsupported, camping each night and carrying his own food along the way. Over the course of just 23 days, he rode an impressive 5,510 kilometers (3,424 miles) and climbed some 65,000 meters (214,895 feet). Not only did he accomplish his goal of finishing the remarkable ride, but he beat the peloton to Paris, despite riding around twice the distance, and he raised £500,000 ($688,487) for World Bicycle Relief in the process.

Lachlan’s effort captivated folks from across the cycling world and its many disciplines, and our coverage here on the site proved immensely popular (find that linked below). Now, months after his ride, Rapha has released a 37-minute video that chronicles his weeks spent riding across France. Watch Rapha Gone Racing – The Alt Tour below, followed by a handful of photos from his toughest challenge to date.
