Second Time is the Charm: Kokopelli Trail (Video)

Last week, a group of friends set out to tackle the Kokopelli Trail aboard drop-bar bikes from Rodeo Labs. Watch a 34-minute video recapping the trip by Stephen Fitzgerald here, alongside some photos he snapped along the way…

If anyone was watching the Rodeo Labs Instagram feed last week, you would have seen a group of friends, all riding drop-bar Rodeo Labs bikes, tackling the Kokopelli Trail from Fruita, Colorado to Moab, Utah. The Kokopelli is a classic bikepacking route, but is usually ridden on a mountain bike, so we were eagerly following along to see how the riders fared. The group was made up of Stephen Fitzgerald (@stevetheintern) from Rodeo Labs, alongside his friends David Hornick, Nicholas Gilroy, Peder Horner, Travis Palmer, and Bryan Derstine. Stephen compiled all of his cell phone videos into a 34-minute video that provides a raw look at what the Kokopelli Trail is all about. Watch it below, then scroll down for some beautiful photos he captured during the trip.
