Hi! My name is Mangky, and I’m from Bandung, Indonesia. I am a product designer in a fashion company. I like creating artwork of various kinds of bicycles, making them look tiny, which I call BANTET ART. Check out a few examples below.

I have loved bicycles since I was a kid. My dad has the same passion, too. He has several types of bicycles, namely mountain bikes, including some vintage ones, and road bikes, too. In 2010, I started admiring bicycle components, and before long I had my first own bike.

At that time, I intended to buy a different bicycle from the ones my dad has, so as to add to our collection. So, I decided to buy a folding bike, starting with Dahon and Brompton. Lately, I’ve become interested in gravel bikes as well, and now I have Cinelli Zydeco, my one and only gravel bike.

This vintage Kona Explosif actually belongs to my dad, but he let me borrow it for a bikepacking trip I was planning out to Mt. Papandayan, Garut, Indonesia, which is how it’s pictured here. It’s a mostly Shimano Deore DX build with rim brakes and 26″ wheels. I added a mix of bikepacking bags from a handful of different brands, as well as a pair of cargo cages on the fork.
