Melbourne’s Curve Cycling just announced a limited run of Kevin of Steel frames and completes in a new Camel Cruiser colorway, paying tribute to the four-wheel drives that cut the first vehicle tracks through the Australian Outback. Check it out here…
The Curve Kevin of Steel is a versatile gravel bike built up around Columbus Zona Italian-made double-butted tubing, comfortable all-day geometry, and clearance for 700 x 45mm or 650b x 2.2″ tires. Lucas spent six weeks riding one around the south of Spain and grew especially fond of it, describing it as a real contender if he were to own just one bike. Curve just brought the Kevin of Steel back with an entirely new look, including a fresh Camel Cruiser colorway complete with pin-striping and a tribute badge decal.
Curve is offering the Kevin of Steel in four complete builds from $6,799 to $8,999 AUD (~$4,700 to $6,300 USD) based around several drivetrains: Campagnolo Ekar, SRAM Force eTap AXS, SRAM F-Eagle eTap AXS, and SRAM Rival-Eagle eTap AXS. Each complete build gets you one of three wheelset options, including the choice between 700c and 650b. All builds are finished with Curve Walmer Bars, Zipp stem and seatpost, a Fi’zi:k saddle, and Curve’s own carbon GXR Fork. It’s also available as a frameset, including headset, GXR Fork, seatclamp, and spare derailleur hanger, for $2,399 AUD (~$1,600 USD).
