Following a year of in-person screenings, we’re excited to see that Les Échappées (The Breakaways), a film by Un Autre Cycle in partnership with Ahstudio Filmmakers, is now available to rent or purchase through Vimeo on Demand. The 70-minute film follows couple Louise Roussel and Océane Le Pape on a two-month journey around France during which they pedaled some 3,000-kilometers and met more than 200 inspiring women with a common passion for all things bikes.
Throughout their ride, the pair sat down with women from all walks of life, including retired professional cyclists, young and old bicycle travelers, mechanics, urban commuters, ultra-distance champions, activists, and many others. You can rent the film for $3.25 or buy it for $10.84 (all proceeds will be donated to charitable causes), and if you missed it last spring, be sure to watch the excellent trailer above.
