Gran Vertical is the little sister to the CAT700 event, following a 360 or 400-kilometer route that starts and ends in Segorbe, Spain…
Gran Vertical, 60 hours of disconnection
Celebrate spring riding the Gran Vertical, an intense, exciting micro-trip weekend that invites you to explore those places that are often out of the scene. They are the B-side of the territory, spaces that are less considered but very valuable. There where life is expressed live, without tourist mediation.
The Gran Vertical is the heir, daughter or little sister of the CAT700. They share the essence. As with the CAT700, you can choose the option that suits you best: a gravel route, or a version on narrow roads, where slowness, effort and contemplation are the main ingredients.
New start/finish point. For the 2025 edition, we are inaugurating a route and a start/finish point. This year we are heading to Segorbe, in the Valencian Community, to head towards the highlands of Teruel, visiting the peaks of Javalambre and Peñarroya, both over 2.000 meters. Once again, in the mountains of Castelló, we will cross the domains of two emblematic peaks: Penyagolosa and Espadà.
Dates: The 2025 edition will take place from 11th to 13th April 2025, starting and finishing in Segorbe.
