Moravian Beskyd, Czechia

In preparation for a new ultramarathon called Przeciskacz, a crew of three (Wojtek from Coffeeteatrip, Ucek from Chasing Perspectives, and Rafal from Wyjazdy Dojazdy) made another tour to check and plan the route. Besides peaks like Velký Javornik and Radhošt, we visited many industrial sites with mine machines and had a great time on and off the bikes.
Franconian Switzerland, Germany

You don‘t always have to travel far to see awesome landscapes. Last weekend, a good friend and I did our first overnighter of the year. We decided to keep it simple and started directly from home towards beautiful Franconian Switzerland. All in all, it was a 110-kilometer loop with around 1,500 meters of elevation through small villages, great forest sections, and along rough rockfaces. A great start to the bikepacking season.
Ontario, Canada

A shot from the ice storm this past weekend. Heavy fog made it that much more surreal. I brought a small tarp to cover the bike at night. Also wise to keep the helmet on when branches and/or entire trees are dropping from the sky. By Sunday, there were 350,000 homes in Ontario without power.
Send Us Your Weekend Snapshot
We’ll be selecting three photos per week to feature in Weekend Snapshot. Send yours along for consideration, and if it’s selected, we’ll be in touch! Note: We prefer 3:2 ratio landscape-oriented photos.
