Old Man Mountain has updated its Axle Pack for the first time since its initial release. The brand claims the system is now 20 percent lighter and more aesthetically pleasing than the original. Find out more about this update below…
For the first time since it introduced the Axle Pack in 2024, Old Man Mountain is updating its small cargo-carrying system. The brand says it slightly reworked the OMM Axle Pack V2’s aesthetic and cut the weight by 20%, bringing the system down to just 59 grams. Winner of a 2024 Gear of the Year Award, the Axle Pack requires its thru-axle fit kit and adds significant cargo capacity. From suspension forks to carbon ones with limited load capacity, the Axle Pack is a great tool for anyone who needs more capacity.
Like the previous iteration, the Axle Pack V2 is made of 6061 aluminum in Taiwan, fits any fork with OMM’s thru-axle Fit Kits, and comes with a lifetime warranty. The Axle Packs are sold as a pair and retail for $60.
