A kind of Tour Divide made in France that links the Franco-Belgian border to the Franco-Spanish border. A challenging all-roads route between gravel and mountain biking using the GR footpaths of Santiago de Compostela.
The French Divide was created as a result of more and more cyclists who feel they don’t match the spirit of traditional cycling races anymore. The FD organizers noticed that many self-supported ultra-distance mountain-biking are appearing all over Europe.
For 2020, the ride will take in more than 2200 km in bikepacking in no more than 15 days, without assistance on the most beautiful gravel roads and mountain biking in France, following mostly the mythical route of Santiago de Compostela.
