The Japanese Odyssey is an endurance cycling event. It is not a race. It’s about discovery, about exploration, about challenging yourself. Be prepared.
The Japanese Odyssey is a self-supported bicycle event. This year the theme is inspired by the japanese poet Bashō and will be: “The narrow road to the deep North. From Kagoshima to Tohoku, inland”. The journey will start from Kagoshima, and will lead the entrants to Hachinohe (Aomori Prefecture). Entrants will have to go through 15 check points on small roads and in secluded areas. Entrants have a 11-day cut-off time to cover the 2,400 km route length.
