Copenhagen → Oslo | +800km | Self-Supported Bikepacking Race

Nordic Chase is a series of ultra-distance, unsupported cycling races. Each “chase” connects two major cities in Northern Europe.

This edition, Chapter 1, is an unsupported gravel race from Copenhagen to Oslo. Riders will cover 800+ km with approximately 7,200 meters of elevation. The route links three countries (Denmark, Sweden, and Norway) and includes one ferry crossing.

The journey begins in Copenhagen, crosses to Helsingborg via ferry, and continues through the heart of southern Scandinavia — through deep forests, across farm roads, and endless stretches of fast, rolling gravel. With over 80% gravel and more than 7,200 meters of climbing, the course offers both beauty and bite.

This single-stage, fixed-route event follows the core principles of ultra-distance cycling: self-reliance, endurance, and navigation. However, riders are welcome to draft and travel in groups, making it both a personal test and a shared experience.

– Limited to 100 participants
– Registration opens September 2025
