Backyard Gravel Bodensee 2026

Backyard Gravel Bodensee is a 3-day bikepacking adventure that takes you on a sweeping gravel route around the stunning Lake Constance region. It’s not a race—there are no results, no pressure, just you, your bike, and a story waiting to unfold. The event blends the spirit of a self-supported bikepacking tour with the joy of shared experiences, community vibes and relaxed evenings around the campfire, complete with good food and great company.

Over three days, participants follow a thoughtfully planned route of approximately 350 km and 4 500 m of climbing (with a shorter 2-day option available), enjoying panoramic lake views, quiet nature reserves, charming villages, gentle hills and scenic gravel tracks at their own pace. Daily camps with basic infrastructure—from fresh meals and snacks to breakfast and a place to pitch your tent—offer welcoming moments to regroup and swap stories with fellow riders.
