BAM! is the first European meeting for cycle-travelers. Group rides, workshops, meetings, speeches, contests, books, music, parties… the event for those who choose a horizon, a pair of wheels and the wind in their face.
BAM , the European gathering of bicycle travelers, the largest event dedicated to cycle tourism and adventure in Europe, returns to Mantua, from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 June 2022.
Thousands of travelers are expected from all over Italy and, pandemic permitting, from all over Europe, to finally find themselves sharing their passion for travel.
After the two “Campfire” editions, with a limited number, in the mountains, both sold-out in a few hours, BAM! returns to its original format of an open, free and popular event, as is the bicycle: an appointment in which all the “forms” of the travel meet once a year, from the great explorer to the family, from sportsmen to those who use the bicycle for go far.

In the last few months of compulsory break, the desire for bikes and freedom has grown, the bike world is growing enormously and cyclists are thirsty for travel and kilometers; BAM! is once again an opportunity to meet again, to share stories and experiences, to learn something new and have fun, but also to take stock of a sector that is experiencing a real boom and that has become more than ever even an opportunity for development for the territories.
The format of the event is always the same: music, stories, meetings, workshops and opportunities to share a passion, even over a beer. In the village a big expo area, where it will be possibile to meet the big brands as well the artisan producers. A few meters away is the large “camp” area, where the travelers of the BAM! will be able to pitch their tent, exceptionally in front of the medieval walls of Mantua.
The BAM! begins before the event, when travelers leave home: the participants are in fact invited, every year, to leave by bike towards Mantua, sharing the road with old and new friends: an idea that pushes hundreds of people to cycle for days, to then arrive pitching the tent under the same sky, facing the wonderful lakes of the city.
