Bang Bang: Don to Durham

The Bang Bang is a burly adventure ride from the Toronto Don Valley to Durham Forest. This route can be a multi-day ride or an epic single-day challenge. The sections in the Don & Dagmar are advanced, so some squish is recommended. There are many opportunities to get rad along this route, so travel light to enjoy the features. There are jumps (with ride-arounds), punchy hills, g-outs and many type-2 moments. Cursing my name may be required.

The majority is single/double track but there are connectors featuring gravel, city trail, bike lanes, roads, and occasional bushwhacking. The route encompasses the Meadow Way Path, Don Valley trails, Scarbrough Bluffs, Gates Gully, Waterfront Trail, Duffins Trail, Greenwood Conservation area, Dagmar, Durham Forest, Walker’s Woods, Oak Ridge Trail, Rouge National Park, The Great Trail, Seaton Hiking trails, Pickering, an old dump & Morning Side Park.

There is a very informal Grand Depart for the Bang Bang route planned for May 16th, 2026 @ 8am. There is no support. Riders can ride the route at the pace they prefer.

Please find the RSVP form & route file in the bio of the instagram account.
