Bike Packing 201 is a step beyond the 1 hour “101” presentation that we did last winter. This is the second part of our four part course consisting of three classroom sessions followed by an overnight Bike Packing trip.

Session 2 – Tents, Shelter and cooking

Tonight you’ll learn about different types of shelter and how to set up a tent. We’ll discuss nutritional needs, water treatment and you’ll practice cooking on lightweight stoves. We’ll also review camping skills and cover Leave No Trace.

March 28 – Session 3 – Bike Maintenance and packing

Followed by 2 day tour to put skills learned into use

Fee for the seminars and the tour (including fees and food) is $100. Click on “ticket info” for flyer and more details. Please call the shop at 603-964-5445 to register.
