Bikepack the Suwanne River Trail 2026 Featuring The Dead River Sink

This ride will start on Friday, December 4th, and end on Sunday, December 6th.

For the fourth year of this group tour, Graham Partain will guide the group to the new camp at the Jennings Bluff tract. It’s here where riders will have a chance to explore the Dead River Sink. This geologically unique location is where the Alapaha River goes underground and resurfaces miles later in two separate spots. One of the main features of this ride is that you will get to see the places where the river disappears and reemerges.

Night 2 will be spent at Camp Suwannee, where riders will have the opportunity to either camp or sleep in the communal bunkhouse.

Both camps will have access to hot showers, potable water, and electricity. Everyone will receive a commemorative patch.

Day 1: 60 Miles

Day 2: 68 Miles

Day 3: 60 Miles.

We highly recommend riding a 50mm tire or wider for this trip!
